The Big Stuff - a mom who gives great advice about healthy eating and balancing it with a normal life
I know this isn’t fitness or health related but when I read this last night it really resonated with me. My son is right at that age where he repeats every word you say about 50 times. i.e.:

Me: Let’s get your shoes on.

2-year old son: Shoes on? Shoes on? Shoes on? Get shoes on? Get shoes on? Get shoes on? Get shoes on? Get shoes on? Get shoes on? Shoes! Shoes! Shoes! Shoes! Shoes! Shoes!

Sometimes it can be really easy to sort of zone your kiddos out or try to focus on other things. I think you have to do it to an extent to stay sane, but this was a great reminder that sometimes it’s really important to just sit down and be present with them too.

I know a lot of you guys are parents and thought you might like this as well! ♥ - Natalie Hodson Website

  • I love this and it’s sooo true. Listening is important and it builds such a great relationship between two people, children included =)
