Anyone else buy the giant bags of spinach at Costco with great intentions *thinking* you’ll eat the whole thing then feeling bad when it gets wasted in the bottom drawer of the fridge??
Here’s a tip.
Before the leaves start to get bad (slimy) but you realize you won’t eat it all before it does go bad, take your spinach, put it in Ziploc bags, push all the air out of the bags, and freeze them.
They won’t be good fresh anymore for salads, but they’ll still work great to add to smoothies, protein shakes, or to add in with your egg scrambles in the morning.
Works like a charm every time!
