We’ve all been there: our alarm goes off and we lay in bed debating with ourselves about how much longer we can sleep and still get up on time or if we really need to get up and do that thing we set our alarm for (gym, errands, housework, etc.). If we’re honest we’ve probably all hit the snooze button a few too many times and then regretted not getting up the first time. Maybe today was one of those days for you.
When you have a morning like this take it one step at a time. For me, most days, just rolling out of bed is the hardest part (because I am definitely not a morning person by nature). Once I am up I feel pretty good and it is great knowing my workout or other responsibilities are done and out of the way. First focus on just getting out of bed and then one small step at a time. Mornings are hard, but you can do it!
