Remember a while back I mentioned I’ve been having a hard time squeezing cardio into my workouts? Well, this is one of my favorite HIIT cardio workouts that I can sometimes squeeze in after I lift weights – they are each 10 minutes or less and will leave you drenched in sweat like I was today. Try this and let me know what you think (no hands on the rails – that is cheating!):
On stair master-
1 round = 40 second intervals at Level 5 & level 13 each
Level 13 will get your heart rate up and then level 5 is your recovery. Do each round 7 times (should be 9 minutes 20 seconds total). Then do 3-5 minutes at level 2 for cooldown.
It should look like this:
Level 5 (40 seconds)
Level 13 (40 seconds)
Level 5 (40 seconds)
Level 13 (40 seconds)
Continued for 5 more rounds
