Product Review! MRM All Natural Reload (BCAA+G)

Today is Day 8 of my 30 Days of Blogging Challenge!  A while back I had a crazy idea to blog every day for 30 days.  You can click here to read more about it.
I am always getting asked which products I use on a daily basis.  I am selective about which supplements I use, and keep my supplement list pretty basic with the products I see the best results from.  The supplements I take daily are: multi vitamin, fish oil, whey protein, and BCAA‘s.  I like to stick with MRM brand because they use really high quality ingredients, they offer a lot of products that don’t use artificial sweeteners, and their company is really dedicated to overall health.

One of the products that I use on a daily basis is MRM’s All Natural Reload BCAA+G (post-workout recovery in the watermelon flavor).  BCAA stands for Branch Chain Amino Acids.  Branch Chain Amino Acids are essential nutrients that the body gets from protein you eat throughout the day, specifically foods such as meat, dairy, and legumes.  BCAA’s include the amino acids: leaucine, isoleucine, and valine and the  “branched-chain” part refers to the chemical structure of these amino acids.  Branch chain amino acids stimulate the building of protein in muscle and possibly reduce the breakdown of muscle during intense training.

I like using a BCAA supplement, because when you workout you create tiny micro-tears in your muscles, and the BCAAs help your body to repair those micro-tears so that you are not as sore after you workout and have faster recovery times.  What I really like about MRM’s BCAA powder is that is also includes glutamine in it.  Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in the body and really aids your body in the recovery process. MRM’s glutamine comes from non GMO beet oil and has a very mildly sweet flavor. Glutamine also helps the integrity of cells in your digestive track.

MRM’s All Natural Reload comes in a powder form which makes it so easy to mix with water and drink during/after your workouts.  A lot of other brands of powdered BCAA’s have sucralose (Splenda) in them and I try to stay away from sucralose, especially while I am nursing.  But, MRM’s Reload is naturally sweetened with xylitol, the xylitol is sourced from birch bark not corn, and doesn’t have any sucralose in it at all!  I like the watermelon flavor and think it tastes really good.  I use three scoops (one serving) in an MRM shaker cup , add about 8-12 ounces of water, and I drink it during my workout.  Sometimes I will also take Reload right before bed to help my muscles repair while I am sleeping.  Glutamine can help your pituitary to secrete growth hormone, and the B6 in Reload enhances absorption of amino acids.

I like to share with you guys the products that I use on a daily basis and explain the reasons why I like to use them.  I hope this was helpful, and if you have any questions leave them as a comment below and I will help you out!

Natalie

  • Hey Traci! I use them while nursing, but if you have specific concerns you can give your OBGYN or family doctor a call and run it by them 🙂

  • Hi Natalie could you advise me which fat burner is the best one .Many thx .;)

  • Hey there ! I just ordered off Amazon today after reading your blog. I am pretty much at my goal weight, and am not looking to body build etc, just interested in keeping with the exercise/lifting/cardio to keep shaping my body and build lean and strong….So my question is, is this product still a benefit if I’m not looking to be “buff” but just want lean? I am not on any specific diet or anything, but can this help supplement meals, give energy etc? I have switched up my workouts a ton lately and have had major sore muscles for days on end especially in my calves after new aerobic/bootcamp type classes etc. despite the fact that I work out 5- 6 days a week and have for a year and a half. I would love something that can help repair those sore muscles quicker! But just wondering if this is really a product for me!Thanks for your input!

  • I would recommend taking MRM CLA1250, it will boost your energy and decrease fat accumulation! I would only recommend the product if working out consistently.

  • Hi Natalie! I love your website and Facebook page. You provide a lot of helpful tips that I have been following! 🙂 I have a question about the supplements. I am just starting out taking pills outside of my regular Women’s Multivitamins and I’m wondering if I am overdoing it (or underdoing it) with the additional supplements I’m taking. Currently, here’s my daily intake:
    1. CLA – 1000 mg 1 with each meal
    2. Biotin – 1000 mcg 1 with meal (can take up to 5 per day)
    3. Omega 3 Fish Oil – 1000mg 3 per day with meal
    4. Women’s One-a-Day Multivitamin- 1 per day with food
    5. BCAA caps- 1000mg 2 caps per day ( 1 pre-workout, 1 post-workout)
    6. Culturelle Probiotic- 1 per day
    7. Viactiv Chews- (calcium) 2 chews per day)
    8. Aminolast Recovery & Endurance BCAA Superfuel Powder- 1 scoop w/10oz. of water during workout.

I’m wondering if the Aminolast is adding too much BCAA since I’m taking the capsule form. Do you have any advice regarding my supplement intake? Thank you greatly!

  • It’s clear when you look at Drew Peterson that he
an ego bigger than all outdoors. It flows north and turns eastward at Jacksonville angler
products to its mouth in the Atlantic OceanThe total drop of the river?

It was a really special fish. Bite indication is perfect
and the time for crankbaits and weighted plastic lures.
The day was still young, angler products and I found that I could reach, stripping excess line
rapidly, watching the fly drift back downstream.

  • Hi Natalie! I’m contemplating taking a BCAA while trying to get pregnant with our 3rd – but everywhere, even natural companies – seem to say not to use while pregnant, nursing or contemplating pregnancy – so since you’re using it while nursing, I’m assuming it’s safe to take while trying to get pregnant? Also – what supps did you take while pregnant? Thanks!
