Healthier Alternative to Crystal Light

For those of you who love Crystal Light – consider switching to True Lemon. It doesn’t have any artificial sweeteners and tastes just as good as Crystal Light. Most of the time I just add a little bit of lemon juice to my water, but on days that I want something a little sweeter I use some True Lemon. You can find it right by the Crystal Light packets at any grocery store (I have gotten it at Walmart, Wegman’s, Safeway, etc). I really like the raspberry lemonade flavor.  The raspberry lemonade flavor also tastes great in Jamie Eason’s lemon protein bars!

  • I’ve never heard of True Lemon. I’ll look for it. Another way to have “healthy lemonade” is to squeeze half a lemon into a glass with ice. Add one-two packets of Stevia depending on the sweetness you desire, fill with water and stir. Delicious!!

  • Hey Natalie! Do you buy the lime juice in the little green container or do you actually use a fresh lime?

    Thanks – Sheri

  • Hey Sheri! I always think fresh lime juice tastes better, but sometimes I am lazy and will use the little green container. I’d say it’s about 50/50 🙂

  • Ali I have made that before too and it is delish!!! 🙂

  • I just tried this for the first time….it’s fantastic. It’s better than Crystal Lite in that it’s not as sweet.
I’m really digging it and they’ve got a variety at the Kroger by my house.
