Earlier this summer I put up a few posts on social media about how much I love the store Charming Charlie and shortly afterwards their social media team reached out to me to ask if I would like to be an ambassador for them where they send me some of their newest lines each month for me to try out. I only had to think about that for about two seconds before I agreed, ha! Their clothes are super affordable, fit great, and because everything is color coordinated in the store it makes it so easy for someone like me who isn’t super fashion savvy to put together a cute outfit.
I’ll share my favorite outfits with you guys each month here on my blog. I’d love to hear from you which ones you like the best!! I will put the size I am wearing in each of the pictures, FYI I am 5’8″ and my weight fluctuates between 145-155 on any given day just so you have a size reference. I have a long torso and shorter legs (for my height), so sometimes shirts fit me best in a small, sometimes a medium depending on the length.
I think this is my favorite of the bunch! I love the colors of this dress, and it is a really comfortable, flowy maxi dress. The top has a lot of intricate lace detail that is really pretty. It is not too form fitting, but if you wanted to show off your curves a bit you could add a belt around the high waist and I think that would look cute too. Size: small, $45. I am definitely a jeans and tshirt girl most days, and so this shirt caught my eye! On the rack I didn’t know if I would love it, but once I tried it on I fell in love. It is a really soft cotton/polyester blend and the lace on the bottom and arms adds a really delicate touch. I actually think this would be super cute with a pair of white shorts. The front of the shirt is slightly shorter than the back, but even with my long torso it wasn’t too short with low-rise jeans. Size: small, $25. This is a fun dress because I feel like you could really dress it up or down depending on the shoes and accessories you wore with it. This is probably my favorite tank of the whole bunch! It is that really soft cotton material and I just love the colors. I think it’s perfect for throwing on for a play date with your kids or when you are running errands because it looks cute but isn’t too dressy. This is a great top if you want a casual look but want to look a little dressier than just a plain tshirt. The front is that soft, lightweight polyester/rayon blend and the back is really pretty chiffon stripes! Size: small, $25. This is such a pretty, feminine dress! I feel like I could wear it to the beach or even to a tball game. It is really lightweight and perfect for these hot, humid days SouthEast Texas is famous for. The cut is very flattering and this is a really casual and pretty dress. Size: small, $39. Comment: I am small chested so the small fit me great, but it was just a tiny big snug around my chest so if you are curvier up top you may want to size up.
