Big Transformation!!! … Just kidding…

Big Transformation!!! … Just kidding…

"Don't compare your behind the scenes to someone else's highlight reel."

Want to see a big transformation??!! Just kidding. There was only about twenty seconds between these two photos I just took today. I'm sharing this because the number one shame trigger in women is body image and this is something that needs to be talked about more. So many times we look at models posed perfectly in a magazine, highlighting their best angles, with professional lighting, flexing, etc. But those same women you see and wish you looked like, probably look a lot more like you than you think when they aren't in front of the camera. You want to know what else? If I would have hunched over you would have seen a lot of stretched and wrinkly skin too from delivering two ten pound babies (which I've showed in other videos). Have you ever looked at someone else's photo on social media and felt discouraged because you thought you never could look as good? Stop right now! Using the right posture (not hunching over), wearing pants that sit correctly on your waist, standing in the right lighting, etc all can make the difference in how a photo looks. Be kind to yourself, and love yourself in whatever stage you are at.
Pregnancy takes a toll on our bodies. Stretch marks, saggier boobs, stretched skin, wider hips, tired eyes....these are the badges we wear for creating life. It is nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about....it just is. Honor and respect it. Speak kindly to yourself. You will be amazed at how much better you will start to feel once you can own and embrace your story.
