When I have my water right in front of me it makes it easy to remember to drink. Do you guys have any tips or tricks for getting your daily amount of water in? Not sure how much water you should drink? A good rule of thumb is to take your body weight, divide it in half, and that ...[Read More]

Using the Lat Pulldown

Lat pull down

100 lbs 4 sets of 8 reps. A lot of girls don't realize (I never used to either) that if you want to look toned in regular clothes you have to lift heavy in the gym. My muscles always look big when I'm lifting but then when I'm in my regular clothes it just looks nice and toned and not bulky at all. If you want to look toned don't be afraid to lift heavy. Sweet Potato and Zucchini Mini Frittata

If you don't like zucchini you should still try this recipe! You can't taste the zucchini and it adds a lot of volume to these. Here is a picture of them before I put them in the oven. I have a picture after they are cooked, but I think steam got in my camera or something because the picture is all blurry. I love making mini frittatas! I feel so fancy when I eat them, haha. These are awesome if yo ...[Read More]

Base Protein Bar Recipe – Add Your Own Flavors!!

Here is my base protein bar recipe (adapted from Jamie Eason's Cinnamon Swirl Recipe). Once you have this part down all you need to do is add your own extracts to create your own flavor of bars! I usually do 2-3tsp extract per batch. One very important tip:  The homemade protein bars have no preservatives in them. So, if you make them you MUST keep them in the fridge or the freezer or they will sp ...[Read More]
